The IPA meeting for September will be held on the 28th at 7PM, at the Polish Community Center, Yonkers, NY.  We have important information to discuss including the upcoming National election.  The following people are nominated for office:

We will need to decide whom to vote for for each office at the September meeting.

We also still have IPA merchandise available for sale, including, sweat shirts, and windbreakers, excellent items now that the cooler weather is here!!

There will be no meeting in April, because of the preparations for Police Week in Washington, DC.  Please note that there will not be an IPA booth in Washington this year, but we will still be there and there will be applications available if you want to sign up a member.  There will be a meeting in May, after Police Week so that we can report on the events in Washington.  We hope to see many of you there!!

There is a meeting scheduled for November 17th, at 7 PM, at the Polish Community Center in Yonkers, NY, the cost for the meeting is $10 and will include a buffet, beer, wine and soda.  We still have T-shirts, hats, and windbreakers for sale.  Come and join us for a good meal, and a fun meeting.

We are done with meetings until the end of September.  Please note that we still have region 3 merchanise for sale and will be happy to ship to you.  Vi Powrie will be attending the IEC the beginning of September and staying for the Friendship Week afterward.  Don't forget she is also running for Naitonal President next year, so talk to friends in other regions about her.  Have a great summer and see you in September!!

The IPA National also has challenge coins for sale.  They have the IPA logo on front and the COPS logo on the reverse.  They are selling for $5.00 each plus postage.  Please contact Vi Powrie for more information.

The president has decided to have a meeting in March, since he would be unable to schedule one in April before the NDC in Windsor, Canada.  The meeting will be March 31 at 7 PM at the Polish Community Center in Yonkers.

Please remember that the NDC is May 4th thru May 7th and all members of the IPA and their spouses are welcome to attend.  Windsor is located across the river from Detroit and is a beauiful city with lots of little shops and a Casino!!
